Can you feel that? It's the cool Autumn breeze coming our way. We don't know about you, but September is one of our favorite months. Probably because it's filled with exciting festivals and cannot miss events. This weekend marks the return of many famed Newport events, like Newport Secret Garden Tour, Raptor Weekend at Audubon and the chance to climb the tower of the world's third largest lighthouse at Beavertail State Park.

In the mood for something brand new? Hop aboard Newport's new tall ship, Oliver Hazard Perry, as Island Moving Company presents Second Star to the Right: A Tale of Hook & Pan. That's right - aboard the ship. Or, head on over to Great Friends Meeting House for the ACT Harvest Festival, the culmination of Aquidneck Community Table's 2016 Food Challenge.

September is upon us. Make it a memorable one.

Plaza Suite at Newport Playhouse & Cabaret Restaurant | Times Vary

Recurring through Sunday, October 7. Hilarity abounds in this portrait of three couples successively occupying a suite at the Plaza. A suburban couple take the suite while their house is being painted and it turns out to be the one in which they honeymooned 23 (or was it 24?) years before and was yesterday the anniversary, or is it today? This wry tale of marriage in tatters is followed by the exploits of a Hollywood producer who, after three marriages, is looking for fresh fields.
