“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.” - Henry James.

We have to agree with Henry James that afternoons in the summer are among the most beautiful things. Even better? When the afternoon also happens to be the weekend.

This weekend offers a bounty of action-packed events, plus opportunities to kick back and relax. The clan includes Bo Bob, the dimwitted mailman, and Clarence, local stud and mechanic who's been messin' with Ovella since high school. His faithful girl is Sara Lee Turnover, the beautician. Teddy Joe, Ovella's wronged husband who is more brawn than brain, Maybelline, the overweight waitress who wants to be in love, and a narrator/story teller/singer who doubles as a psychic and believes in happy endings complete the cast.
