This is not a drill. T minus three days until Summer. In case you can't quite tell, we've been waiting for this with visions of rooftop sunsets and seaside spritzers dancing in our heads. 

In great anticipation of the season, this weekend brings a wealth of warm-weather delights. Wander through private gardens during the return of Newport Secret Garden Tour, or take it casual with a Newport Gulls baseball game. 

Things heat up Saturday with the Great Chowder Cook-Off at Fort Adams State Park - endless chowder samples from 21 competitors. Plus, don't forget Polo returns for a great match against the Aussies. 2016 Newport Bermuda Race 

We're kicking off the summer with the 635-mile biennial Newport Bermuda Race, the oldest regularly scheduled ocean race, one of very few international distance races, and one of just two of the world’s regularly scheduled races held almost entirely out of sight of land. A Fork in the Road Food Truck at Fort Adams | 11:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Tuesdays with Morrie Presented by 2nd Story Theatre
