We know it's not officially summer here in the City by the Sea, but it sure feels like it. Our outdoor patios and rooftop bars have officially reopened, the warm, salty sea breeze is rolling through town and the lengthy list of events and activities you absolutely must try just keeps growing. This week brings plenty of outdoor fun, like Rough Point's Nature Tamed featuring garden tours, floral fashions, gallery talks and more. Not to mention, the return of beloved Newport Polo returns to Glen Farm in Portsmouth for another season of riveting matches where all-star lineups of international competitors take the field.

Head to the Top of Newport, Hotel Viking's scenic rooftop bar, for special happenings all week long (and summer long, too!), like Taco Rita Tuesday, featuring Top of Newport’s take on mouthwatering tacos paired with a specially crafted margaritas.

Feeling up for a challenge? Sunday brings the return of Newport 10 Miler. Starting and finishing in the walls of the Fort Adams Fortress this event will be one of the most unique road races in Rhode Island featuring stunning views from start to finish.
