How is it the last full week in February? Didn't we just have this conversation about January? We would be sad but we're too preoccupied with all the Newport Winter Festival happenings coming up this week. From ice bars to nacho tastings and tarot readings to cocktail contests, not to mention the return of the famed chili cook-off and hot drink contest. Bundle up and head to the beach for some Newport Polo - winter style, or cozy up indoors with a variety of DIY crafts and projects

If that wasn't enough, there's also a lengthy list of events happening outside our favorite winter festival. Newport Burger Bender brings 25 of Newport & Bristol Counties' best burgers together for a showdown to discover the best burger. Taste test one, some or all if you're feeling ambitious then vote your favorite.

In the mood to sit back and relax? Savor a wine & cheese class at Newport Vineyards, catch the 25th Annual Fakes and Forgeries exhibit or even head to Vanderbilt Grace for Oscars Night on Sunday featuring Oscar-themed cocktails & food, Gold popcorn, Canapes and Oscar Cookies, Oscar Trivia and Paparazzi red carpet photo shoot.

The possibilities are endless. Our picks for this week below.
