In fact, you'd be hard-pressed to find a menu without a steaming bowl of the creamy delicacy chock full of fresh-from-the-ocean clams. The 36th Annual Great Chowder Cook-Off returns with endless samples of both traditional and reinvented clam chowder creations. More than 20 international and regional competitors compete to craft the best chowder while you sample to find your favorite.
The original and longest running event of its kind in the nation, the Great Chowder Cook-Off welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors from near and far every summer.

THE CHOWDAHEAD CLUB
The Chowdahead Club is an exclusive pass for hardcore Chowder Cook-Off fans! Membership grants you access to the Chowder Power Hour, a one-hour preview event from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM before the gates officially open to the public. Members can navigate the event before the crowds arrive, meet the chefs, greet participating team members and get the very first tastes of the 2016 chowder creations. Tickets are valid for all day access, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Kids under 12 are free with a paying adult.
