You don't have to travel far to find a cup of life-changing clam chowder chock full of fresh-from-the-ocean clams here by the sea. In fact, you'd be hard-pressed to find a menu without it.

The Annual Great Chowder Cook-Off returns with a bounty of samples of both traditional and reinvented clam chowder creations as international and regional competitors compete to craft the best chowder while you sample to find your favorite.

The original and longest running event of its kind in the nation, the Great Chowder Cook-Off welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors from near and far every summer.
