We made one resolution this year and it has absolutely nothing to do with eating less lobster mac & cheese. As the ball dropped commemorating a new year, we vowed to experience as many new things as we can in our destination. We're hoping you'll join us. 

 

Water Journey at Bodhi Spa

Begin your year with the art of healing. Newport Film & Celebrity Tour

Fact: Newport is a breeding ground for fantastic films. Directors like Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg and Wes Anderson have filmed incredible motion pictures like Amistad, The Great Gatsby and Moonrise Kingdom, all with Newport's stunning scenery in the backdrop. Climb aboard the Newport Film & Celebrity Tour to learn about them all. The first tour of its kind in Rhode Island, the experience features over fifty clips from films shot throughout Newport at the locations where they were shot. Murder Mystery at Newport Art Museum

Search the galleries inside Newport Art Museum for clues and interrogate the suspects to solve the crime during Newport Murder Mystery. The Winter 2017 theme is Winter Murderland, where you'll step back to 1947 and join a mismatched crew of artists, wealthy arts patrons, and museum employees for an art auction with a very special guest artist. But, when the auction ignites passions, a guest ends up dead and it will be your job to search for clues, question suspects and ultimately bring a killer to justice.
