Details: Save the Bay's interactive marine science center is home to more than 40 species from Narragansett Bay, often including rare lobsters, crabs, seahorses, sea robins, terrapins and more. Three touch tanks allow you to get up close and personal with little skates, urchins, spider crabs, sea stars, dogfish sharks and more - all from local waters. And, with Newport's only ocean-facing beach just outside our front door, you can continue the beach-combing experience after your visit.

Details: Newport Art Museum's monthly family program will honor Chinese New Year traditions with the talented youth performers of the Rhode Island Kung Fu & Lion Dance Club. The 2018 Lunar New Year celebrates the Year of the Dog, and the dancers will be channeling that energy into an elaborate Chinese Lion Dance in the galleries of the historic Griswold House.

Details: Join Newport Storm for their annual 2018 Vertical Tasting featuring five Annual Releases from the past and present. These limited release beers are extremely rare and most are no longer publicly available. This year's line up is built around German brewing traditions and includes our '03, '11, and '17 Annual Releases. All of the Annual Releases we will be sampling were made with either German hops, German malts or inspired by German style beer such as Hefeweizens and Marzen lagers. In addition there will be at least two unannounced Annual Releases included in the tasting, ones that will be sure to satisfy your curiosity.

Details: Rhode Island chefs will educate you on different methods for turning whole local seafood - straight from the sea - into a marvelous dinner you can share with your family and friends.
