The Newport Art Museum will welcome three new exhibitions to its galleries this summer, including a collaborative exhibition by a mother and daughter, a solo artist, and a group show. Of Water & Bone: New Work by Gayle Wells Mandle and Julia Mandle, This Newport: Photographs by Thomas Palmer, and Still Life Lives: Rhode Island Perspectives will be on view this summer.

Still Life Lives

June 4 - September 18, 2016

"Still Life Lives" showcases the work of Rhode Island artists, past and present, as they explore the traditional genre of still life. A Gallery Talk by Museum Curator Nancy Whipple Grinnell will take place Sunday, July 10th at 2:00 PM.
