George Wein, Festival producer and chairman of the Newport Festivals Foundation, Inc. today announced the 2016 Newport Jazz Festival artist lineup. The festival will again take place at Fort Adams on July 29-31 with four stages of non-stop performances. This year's lineup features a wide range of jazz, "from ragtime piano to the most progressive innovations from the minds of today's young musicians," says Wein. The sound of New Orleans will also be coming to Newport this year, in the form of Galactic. They're the type of band where as soon as you hear them you'll want to get onstage and jam with them."

  • Children tickets are $15/day (3-12) and can only be purchased with adult tickets
  • $85 for single day Friday tickets
  • Day of parking will be $20, unless paid in advanced at discounted rate
