The summer season is upon us. In Gilded Age mansion talk, that means all ten historic house museums of The Preservation Society of Newport County are now open daily for public tours. The Breakers, Chateau-sur-Mer, Chepstow, The Elms, Green Animals Topiary Garden, Hunter House, Isaac Bell House, Kingscote, Marble House and Rosecliff are all currently operating daily, and will remain so through Columbus Day, October 10, 2016.
Enhance your visit by downloading the The Preservation Society's new, free mobile app which offers photos as well as text to accompany the audio tours at The Breakers, Marble House, Rosecliff, and later this summer, The Elms. It is available for download as "NewportMansions" through the app store for both Apple and Android devices.
