230th Bristol Fourth of July Celebration Often referred to as the most patriotic town in America, Bristol's Fourth of July Celebration is the oldest continuous celebration of its kind in the US. This year marks the 230th celebration which officially begins on June 14 with Flag day, followed by a number of festive activities including a series of concerts, the Fourth of July Ball on June 26, the Drum & Bugle Corps Competition and the fireworks display on July 3, and finally the Fourth of July Celebration. The day begins with a parade departing from Chestnut and Hope Street at 10:30am. Firework Sails Climb aboard the Adirondack II and experience the firework display from Newport (July 4) or Jamestown (July 5) with a front row seat on the water. Your excursion will include an open bar with beer, soda, wine, and champagne, as well as appetizers of shrimp cocktail,cheeses, crackers, veggies, dip andred white and blue cupcakes. Tickets Fort Aqua The Revolutionary Water Festival, Aqua, comes to Fort Adams on July 3 with a water and light show, beer garden, local bands, food and fireworks. 4-10pm on the North Lawn.
