The Intarawut Gallery features a robust collection of fine antiques including furniture, paintings, sculpture, silver and jewelry. The showroom also incorporates, a curated selection of decorative arts from Marc J. Matz — Antiques & Works of Art, a division of the Intarawut Gallery, whose interests include the colorful history of overseas exploration. For over forty years, the Matz collection has been noted for its highly-vetted assemblage of furniture and works of art from early Colonial India, the China Trade, Europe and America. Matz was a longtime exhibitor at the prestigious New York Eastside House Winter Antiques Show at the armory. The Intarawut Gallery is also widely known for its exceptional collection of antique and contemporary textiles including indigo-dyed cottons, fine woven ikats, and handloom silks. During the springtime, the gallery is open Thursday thru Saturday from 11am to 4pm and Sundays from noon to 4pm. Other times, by chance or appointment. Summer hours will be expanded.
