Every autumn, locals and tourists hit the road in New England to cruise between historic cities and quaint towns as leaves turn red, orange, yellow – and even purple. The seasonal patchwork of colour, strung along coastlines and draping hills like a cosy quilt, is an undeniable draw to the region.
New England’s “fall”, as it’s fondly called in the States, sees visitors venturing on leaf-peeping day trips, often consulting predictive forecasts to catch the absolute peak hues.
