The Classic Coast will once again celebrate its dynamic food scene during the 17th annual Newport Restaurant Week, taking place November 3 – 12, 2023. Featuring ten days of culinary experiences, the event offers a variety of deals and discounts including tastefully crafted prix-fixe menus, gift card promotions, BOGO deals, complimentary add-ons and more from over 50 participating restaurants throughout Newport and Bristol Counties.

Fusing autumnal flavors into farm-to-table and dock-to-plate dishes, this season’s restaurant roster offers a range of experiences from the Beehive Brunch Date featuring buy one, get one 50% off breakfast or lunch entrée on their Restaurant Week Brunch Menu, to a 5-course tasing menu at Giusto Newport.

The perfect pairing of dinner and a movie returns for it’s second year with the Foodie Film Festival at the Jane Pickens Theater; offering a unique mix of seven films from the new documentary The Common Ground, to food classics like Big Night to family-friendly films like Good Burger. “Cinema and dining go hand in hand, and we hope this pairing will inspire visitors and locals to ‘get out on the town’ and enjoy the amazing culinary and cultural experiences Newport has to offer," comments Jane Pickens Theater owner Kathy Staab.

Diners, chefs, and restaurateurs are encouraged to interact throughout the event by using the hashtag #NPTRestaurantWeek on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. For an ongoing, real-time index of observations and images throughout the destination, users can include the hashtag #TheClassicCoast in their posts.

ABOUT NEWPORT RESTAURANT WEEK

Newport Restaurant Week was established in 2006 as an annual event to encourage both residents and visitors to Newport and Bristol counties to experience the vast culinary talent in our destination. The event’s mission is to stimulate local business not only at restaurants but at retail and lodging partners as well. In 2008, Newport Restaurant Week expanded to a bi-annual event; one taking place in early spring and the other in late fall. Restaurateurs often create menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and promote local artisan food and wine purveyors. Many offer vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives to patrons with food allergies or special dietary requirements.
