As if that wasn't enough to make our hearts swoon, the month is filled with so much to see and do. From the return of some truly classic events, like Newport Restaurant Week and Christmas at the Newport Mansions, to hands-on cooking classes, charming exhibits and enchanting festivals, November has us busy in all the right ways.

Join Chef Deja Hart for this lively class where we'll learn tips and tricks for preparing locally sourced crab and monkfish.
ANNUAL HARVEST FESTIVAL AT GREENVALE VINEYARDS

Harvest Festival is held to celebrate the completion of the annual grape harvest. Admission is $5 per person. In addition, guests are welcome to tastings at $15, buy wine by the glass $10 or simply enjoy the day's activities including face painting and tractor rides.
The glitter of gold and the sparkle of silver will dazzle you as you tour three magnificent mansions decked out in Yuletide finery. Music, tours, and spectacular decorations highlight the celebration of Christmas at the Newport Mansions.

Step into 1778 Rhode Island during Redcoats at the Redwood: A 1778 Living History Event as over 25 costumed interpreters recreate life in Newport during the height of the British occupation.

Island Moving Co. invites you to join them for their wonderful holiday ballet A Newport Nutcracker at Rosecliff. Follow the young protagonist throughout the mansion as she celebrates the holiday season with her family, battles with the Mouse King, dances with the Snow Queen and travels with her beloved Nutcracker to the magical Land of Sweets.

The Newport Illuminated Boat Parade kicks off the holiday season with boats decorated with festive holiday decor and lights. The boats motor through the harbor and compete for best decorated in various categories. The parade begins at 6:15 PM and can be viewed from various spots around the harbor. Caribbean Christmas and Holiday tunes on the steel pan with Panoramic View will be live at the North Pole. After the parade, enjoy a holiday stroll where locally-owned shops and restaurants will be open; many with special offers.

Head to Gurney's to watch as they light the historic lighthouse, complete with carolers, spiked cider, live music at the resort's Regent Cocktail Club and of course, undisturbed views of the famed Newport Bridge.
