November on The Coast is like nothing else. As if that wasn't enough to make our hearts full, the month is filled with so much to see and do. From the return of some truly classic events, like Newport Restaurant Week and Christmas at the Newport Mansions, to charming exhibits and enchanting festivals, November has us busy in all the right ways.
When you're ready, we can't wait to welcome you back to The Classic Coast. Rest assured, the safety and well-being of both visitors and locals remains our top priority. The mask mandate requiring face coverings in Rhode Island has been lifted, however local businesses may ask you to wear a mask when visiting their establishments. Please be prepared for individual business mask policies. Additionally, shops, attractions and tours are monitoring the number of guests at any given time and may ask you to socially distance to enter.

NEWPORT RESTAURANT WEEK

The annual tradition returns with more than 50 restaurants anticipated to offer enticing prix-fixe menus and special seasonal offers. Experience tastefully crafted cuisine $20 two-course lunches and dinner offerings of three-course prix-fixe menus for $35 or three-course premier menus for $50.
CHRISTMAS AT THE NEWPORT MANSIONS
The glitter of gold and the sparkle of silver will dazzle you as you tour three magnificent mansions decked out in Yuletide finery. Music, tours, and spectacular decorations highlight the celebration of Christmas at the Newport Mansions. The Preservation Society of Newport County invites you to make holiday memories with your family by visiting The Breakers, The Elms and Marble House this holiday season.
NEWPORT HARBOR ILLUMINATED BOAT PARADE

Where: Newport Harbor
City of Newport lights up the harbor with the Illuminated Boat Parade. Caribbean Christmas and Holiday tunes on the steel pan with Panoramic View will be live at the North Pole. Watch the parade of lights from Bowen’s Wharf while boats compete for best decorated.

Island Moving Co. invites you to join them for their wonderful holiday ballet A Newport Nutcracker at Rosecliff. The signature event of the Christmas season here in Bristol is the Grand Illumination, and you and your family won’t want to miss the fun. Beginning at 5:00 PM, choruses from Bristol public schools and dancers from Extensions School of Dance will perform. Just before 6:00 PM, the man in red joins us from the North Pole.
