Newport Vineyards includes a 60-acre vineyard, restaurant, cafe, marketplace, tasting room and tank room. The vineyard was originally established in 1977 with the goal of producing fine wines as a way of preserving agricultural land from rapid development. Greenvale Farm, located along scenic Sakonnet River, has been in the same family since 1863. The vineyard, which has been family operated since 1982, serves 100% estate grown, award-winning wines created from 27 acres of grapes and nurtured by rich history and a commitment to the preservation of open space.

Carolyn's Sakonnet Vineyard opened in 1975 in Little Compton on the notion that the micro climate and soil conditions found along the Southeastern New England coast closely resemble some of the great wine regions of the world (Think: France). The vineyard sits on 163 acres of land and produces 19 wines.

  • Carolyn's Sakonnet Vineyard is not offering traditional wine tastings at this time—tasting flights, wine by the bottle, and grab and go food items still available
  • Outdoor lawn seating is open on a first come, first serve basis

Newport Craft Brewing Co. was originally founded in 1999 by four college friends. It was the original production craft brewery in Rhode Island, and has since created more than 100 distinctive beers while keeping things local and authentic. From a large selection of brews made with Rhode Island grown ingredients, to beers aged in rum barrels, the brewery has been in the vanguard of craft brewing for nearly 20 years. 

In addition to craft brews, their Newport location also distills, ages and bottles an assortment of gin, vodka, amaro, single-barrel rum, moonshine and whiskey. All spirits are distilled from cane and are gluten free with the exception of Sea Fog Whiskey.

Visit their tasting room, located at the entrance of their Newport brewing facility, to sample the latest brews and spirits, or make your way out to the seasonal pavilion and kick back with a local brew.

Named after the small plot of sand next to Bailey's Beach known as Rejects Beach, Rejects Beer Co. was formed in 2020 after more than a year of planning and construction. The hyper-local brewery is located in an 1880 square foot converted garage overlooking Easton's Pond and pays tribute to the area's surfing scene. The vibe: Retro counter culture meets 80's basement. Inside you'll find a 28-seat bar with six beers on tap alongside neon lighting and oak wooden barrels housing the latest brews. Outside, you'll find a patio equipped with a fire pit and seating with a view.
