Summer 2019 Scoop Spotlight: Heritage Fire
Heritage Fire is a decadent food and wine event featuring more than 3,500 pounds of whole-animal, fire-kissed meat roasted en plein air by top chefs across The Classic Coast and beyond. Part of the famed Cochon555 culinary tour, which was created in 2008 to support local farmers and to educate consumers and buyers about heritage breed pigs and nose-to-tail cooking, chefs, butchers and winemakers at Heritage Fire work in concert with one another to produce a savory event inspired by global grilling traditions. With flowing boutique wines, craft brews and more, this culinary extravaganza comes to Gurney’s Newport Resort and Marina on Saturday, August 24 with VIP and general admission experiences.
