The first major snowfall of the season is about to officially grace us with snow-kissed streets, glistening treetops and nothing short of beautiful New England scenery. And while Mother Nature delivers unsurpassed beauty during the winter months, that beauty sometimes must then be shoveled, plowed and salted over for the sake of modern convenience and, well, getting to work on time. To help the city restore to its normal post-storm status, visitors and residents are asked to note streets where city parking bans are in effect during heavy snowfall.
