WINTER SPEAKER SERIES

Details: This year marks the 90th Winter Speaker Series at the Newport Art Museum! Spend Saturday afternoons with seven inspiring, enlightening and entertaining speakers this winter. The Newport Art Museum's Winter Speaker Series reveals new creative communities in some of today's most exciting fields. All lectures begin at 2:00 PM and are followed by a tea reception.

Details: To Win or Lose All explores the Navy's role in securing victory for the Allies during the First World War. Under Admiral Sims's leadership, American warships escorted convoys to France, laid mines in the North Sea, and hunted German submarines. On land, naval aviators flew scouting and bombing missions while Marines fought in the trenches east of Paris.
