On the second Thursday of every month from February through December, art aficionados of all kinds stroll the streets of Newport's bustling wharves and eclectic neighborhoods to experience the work of 25+ galleries.

Due to COVID-19 safety restrictions and guidelines, Newport Gallery Night has scaled down for increased safety. ART Walking Tours are postponed until further notice, however you are welcome to visit the galleries and enjoy free, short, informational tours at various locations (below).
OVERVIEW:
Established in 2001 and now in its 18th year, Newport Gallery Night stands as first-hand evidence that Newport's art scene is alive and well. On the second Thursday of every month, art aficionados of all kinds stroll the streets of our bustling wharves and eclectic neighborhoods to experience the work of 25+ galleries. Participating galleries, museums and cultural institutions will be open from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.

The second Thursday of each month, February through December. 5:00 - 8:00 PM
WHAT TO DO:
Catch artists at work in their studios. Explore museum exhibitions and listen to special lectures. Enjoy free tours hourly at various locations (below). Stroll through the area's historic neighborhoods. Park for free at the Newport Gateway Center or Newport Art Museum.
INFORMATIONAL TOURS
The Newport Gallery Organization will be offering free, short, informational tours hourly. To join, simply meet inside each gallery at the designated times. Tours last 30-45 minutes and include information about all of the participating galleries, museums and cultural institutions in each area as well as art related stories.
SCHEDULE:
4 PM: Thames Street Tour at Thames Glass
5 PM: Bellevue Avenue Tour at Spring Bull Gallery
6 PM: Spring Street Tour at Art on Spring
7 PM: Downtown Tour at Arnold Art Gallery
