Every year, Newport Pride takes place in June throughout Newport, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community while promoting love, acceptance, inclusivity and diversity. This year, start the celebration off with a flag raising at city hall, access deals all month long throughout the Newport area with a Pride pin, and Pride Weekend returns June 24 - 26 with a full line-up of exciting events and experiences.

When you're ready, we can't wait to welcome you back to The Classic Coast. Rest assured, the safety and well-being of both visitors and locals remains our top priority. The mask mandate requiring face coverings in Rhode Island has been lifted, however local businesses may ask you to wear a mask when visiting their establishments. Please be prepared for individual business mask policies. Additionally, shops, attractions and tours are monitoring the number of guests at any given time and may ask you to socially distance to enter.
All we ask when you land on these shores is that you play your part in keeping everyone safe. Please be kind, adhere to guidelines and maintain social distancing.
Pride pins are $10 and provide access to an assortment of discounts throughout the month of June. Proceeds benefit the shops and businesses supporting and celebrating LGBTQIA+ Pride throughout Newport.

Watch as officials raise the rainbow flag that represents the welcoming of Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community from the city. More details to follow.
On Friday, June 3rd, after the Pride Flag Raising at the Newport City Hall, Tavern on Broadway is hosting a Pride month kick-off event, and all proceeds will go to support Newport Pride 501(c)(3). They are partnering with Provincetown Brewing and Gay Beer to support Newport Out's efforts.
Head to Newport Harbor Hotel for a social event to kick-off Newport Pride Weekend. More details to follow.
Make your way to Great Friends Meeting House for a gathering of unique vendors, live music, and exhibitors celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community.
Grab some friends and join Newport Out and Bike Newport for the annual Newport Pride Ride. This easy 2-mile bike parade around Newport starts and concludes at Great Friends Meeting House, the location of the Pride Market & Festival.
Are you all ready to groove? The Newport Pride after party with NPT HAUS will be the ultimate kiki of an evening at Parlor in Newport. Tickets are on sale now, get them while you still can!
Keep the celebrations going during this family-friendly closing event to conclude the weekend festivities. Enjoy live music, craft beer and more at Newport Craft Brewery & Distillery. More details to follow.
