The Providence to Newport Ferry operated by Seastreak returns to Narragansett Bay offering passengers the opportunity to travel between the state's capital and our City by the Sea with both ease and ultimate comfort, sans traffic and parking woes.
Amenities abound including plush seating with spacious legroom, a climate controlled cabin and an open-air top deck, 360-degree panoramic windows, private bathroom, free high speed WIFI, and a full-service cash bar with cocktails, beer, wine, sodas, tea, coffee, and snacks.
The ferry begins operations for the season on June 16. Each trip will arrive to/depart from India Point at 25 India Street,Providence and Perotti Parkat 25 America's Cup Avenue in Newport. With a capacity of 149 passengers, the high speed ferry will shuttle passengers on four, one-hour round trips Sunday - Thursday and 5 trips Friday - Saturday. See schedule below.
A complimentary shuttle bus will also be provided in Providence for those requesting transportation to India Point Park. The shuttle will service passengers from the Providence Train Station, the convention center and the PVD to NPT ferry terminal at India Point.
