CLASSIC BURGER
Mission
Renowned as the best burger in Rhode Island by Thrillist and TripAdvisor (and pretty much the largest group of die hard fans around), Mission burgers have been stealing hearts and appetites since the establishment first opened doors back in 2013. The burger: served with lettuce, raw onion and mission sauce sure to change your life: aioli with ketchup, cornichons, capers, fines herbs and brandy.
Pro tip: Add caramelized onions and don't skip the fries, they're said to be the best around.

Chomp Kitchen + Drinks
There is a reason Chomp in Warren is considered the Bristol County Burger Authority. It probably has something to do with the fact that they pile their burgers high with excessively enticing and distinctly creative toppings like fried jalapeno chips, mac and cheese and crispy wontons. That being said, what would National Hamburger Day be without a towering challenge? The Stack (appropriately named) includes a beef burger, house bacon, American cheese, Mozambique fried chicken, melted onions and tomato jam, Swiss cheese, Chomp sauce, smokey beef & pork burger, pickled jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles -- all on one sandwich. Need we say more?

As two-time Newport Burger Bender winners, you could say La Forge knows their way around a burger. The Crowley Burger, winner of the 2018 competition, is created with a beef patty topped with cremini mushrooms, gruyere cheese, baby arugula and truffle oil.
