The happiest season of all gets even better as local restaurants prepare decadent fetes to celebrate the holiday. From a traditional feast of seven fishes on Christmas Eve to butternut squash and apple cider soup all the way down to chocolate peppermint torte, 'tis the season to be so very jolly.
Cobblestone street's glisten with new fallen sparkling snow, the smell of roasting chestnuts over the fire place, and the warm glow of lamp posts that illuminate the quaint seaside town of Newport. A Christmas spent with The Chanler will leave you feeling like you've stepped into a Dickens' novel.
Cara Restaurant embraces the magic of the season on Christmas Eve with a menu designed to reignite the childhood feeling of finding a gift under the tree, a surprise awaits with every dish in a special eight-course chef-selected menu. If you crave a more traditional menu, on Christmas Day, enjoy a four-course menu accompanied by a classical violinist. Menu highlights include Duck, Halibut, and Roasted Lobster.
Celebrate Christmas Day at The Dining Room at Castle Hill, who will be serving their traditional three-course menu with some holiday favorite twists throughout. The mansion will of course be adorned in Christmas cheer along with wood-burning fireplaces and live music.
