OFFICIAL OPENING OF CHRISTMAS IN NEWPORT TREE LIGHTING
When: Sunday, December 1; 5:00 PM
Where: Washington Square
Head to Washington Square for the official opening of Christmas in Newport with a proclamation from the Mayor, lighting of the Washington Square tree, cannon salute from Newport Artillery and music by the Newport Public School's music program.

BRISTOL'S TREE LIGHTING + GRAND ILLUMINATION
When: Saturday, November 30; 5:00 - 6:00 PM
Where: 400 Hope Street, Bristol
Bristol's Tree Lighting and Grand Illumination heralds the arrival of the holidays in downtown Bristol with live music and entertainment, a Christmas sing-a-long, grand illumination of the town tree and more.
LIGHTING OF THE LIGHTHOUSE
When: Saturday, November 30; 5:00 PM
Where: Gurney's Newport Resort + Marina
Head over to Gurney's as they light the historic Goat Island Lighthouse alongside carolers, spiked cider, live music at the resort’s Fire Pit & Lounge and of course, undisturbed views of the famed Newport Bridge.
COURTYARD ON THAMES TREE LIGHTING
When: Saturday, November 30; 5:00 - 8:00 PM
Where: Duris Studios
Experience an ol' fashioned neighborhood holiday event with cider, music and a special visit from Santa as the neighborhood shops welcome you into their boutiques with special discounts and deals. It's a great way to participate in Small Business Saturday, a day of shopping at locally owned businesses here in Newport.
