Formerly known as the Craft Brew Races, the Newport Beer Run, features a 5k followed by a craft beer festival at the iconic Fort Adams State Park. Open to beer lovers of all speeds; the day begins with a timed 5K, followed by a 3-hour post-race celebration featuring beer samples, live music, and local food trucks. Medals and awards are handed out to finishers, and each participant receives a souvenir pint glass and entry to the festival.

FESTIVAL DETAILS

No Pressure: Not a runner? Feel free to walk. The 5k is timed, but the brew races offer a relaxed atmosphere sans pressure.
Want to run as a team?The team with the most members (at the end of online registrations) receives a 1.0 liter drinking boot.
Age Matters: While the race is open to all local craft beer lovers, you must be 21 and over. The post-race festival is open to all 21+ race participants or anyone wishing to purchase a Festival Only ticket or a Designated Driver ticket.
Not interested in drinking? Designated driver and 5K race-only tickets are also available at a slight discount, with designated snacks and non-alcoholic beverages offered at the festival.
