When you're ready, we can't wait to welcome you back to The Classic Coast! In order for everyone to enjoy the beauty that is Newport and its surrounding coastal communities this season, local restaurants, shops and business are doing everything they can to ensure the safety of all. This includes wearing mandatory face coverings, following guidelines put in place by health and government officials, and implementing stringent cleaning practices.
All we ask when you land on these shores is that you play your part in keeping everyone safe. Please be kind, wear a mask, wash your hands and maintain six feet of social distancing from others. When planning to visit a local restaurant, we ask that you please check their website for updates on new hours, regulations and to confirm if reservations are required.
Remember: No matter where you plan to dine, face coverings are required while waiting for your reservation/table; on your way to and from your table and if you leave to use the restrooms.
This year's event partners with Rhode Island Hospitality Association (RIHA) in support of their latest initiative, the Rhode Island Restaurant Pledge. Designed as an agreement between local restaurants and customers, the pledge is a promise from each participating restaurant that they are following strict sanitation practices, enforcing social distancing and maintaining the utmost care when it comes to diner safety. Each local restaurant participating in this year's Newport Restaurant Week must sign and commit to abide by the RIHA Restaurant Pledge.
Newport Restaurant Week: the 2020 Remix brings a lengthy list of deals and discounts from participating local restaurants in and around Newport. From $29 3-course prix-fixe menus to complimentary appetizers, free sides, gift card deals and more, the year's event offers the ideal chance to explore award-winning eateries throughout the area for the first time, or return to your favorite at a discounted price.

ABOUT NEWPORT RESTAURANT WEEK
Newport Restaurant Week was established in 2006 as an annual event to encourage both residents and visitors to Newport and Bristol counties to experience the vast culinary talent in our destination at an affordable price. The event’s mission is to stimulate local business not only at restaurants but at retail and lodging partners as well. In 2008, Newport Restaurant Week expanded to a bi-annual event; one taking place in early spring and the other in late fall. Restaurateurs often create menus that celebrate seasonal ingredients and promote local food and wine purveyors. Many offer vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives to patrons with food allergies or special dietary requirements. Newport Restaurant Week is presented by Discover Newport and sponsored by OpenTable.
Share your photos and stories with #NPTRestaurantWeek and #TheClassicCoast on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for the chance to win gift cards to participating local restaurants.
