Indigenous Peoples Day and Columbus Day weekend on The Coast brings with it perfectly-fall festivals, outdoor events and scenic tours. Stroll cobblestone byways and enjoy special deals at the annual Columbus Day sidewalk sale on Bowen's Wharf where you'll find great deals on unique items from area shops; or laugh the weekend away at Rogue Island Comedy Festival.

Laugh your way through Columbus Day weekend at Rogue Island Comedy Festival, the area's bi-annual comedy festival featuring four days of comedy shows on Thursday, October 9th - Sunday, October 12th.
The Broadway Street Fair is back, October 11th from 12:00 - 6:00 PM from Equality Park to Washington Square. Think: a community event filled with local artists, live music, food, and more.

Shops, galleries, pop-ups, restaurants and food vendors, music, historic sites and fun surprises all over town.
Looking for a perfect fall day? Mark your calendars for October 12th, a day filled with Giant pumpkins, food trucks, free corn mazes, family fun and more at Frerichs Farm in Warren for their annual Southern New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off.
Oh, and by Giant pumpkins, we're talking B-I-G pumpkins, in previous years the winning pumpkin weighed in at 2201 lbs. What do you think the winning pumpkin will weigh this year?
Can't make the weigh off? Head to Frerichs Farm weekly for Pumpkin Palooza ay Frerichs Farm happens every weekend from September to late October. Ride the Magic Pumpkin Coach, make your own scarecrow, stroll the mum fields, choose your own pumpkin and so much more.
Walk around Bowen's Wharf for great deals on end-of-summer items and additions to your fall wardrobe from the shops along the waterfront, from October 10th - 13th, 2025.

Apple picking, fresh fruits and veggies, flowers, pick-your-own pumpkins and all things fall at the annual Young Family Farm Autum Fall Fest. Happening the weekend of October 11th & 12th from 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Where: Pachet Brook Tree Farm + Escobar's Highland Farm
Head to Pachet Brook Tree Farm, a 90-acre family-run farm in Tiverton, for a 30-minute hayride through the fields and woods decorated for the season, ending at the pumpkin patch. Hayrides are also offered at Escobar's Highland Farm in Middletown.
