NEWPORT INTERNATIONAL POLO SERIES RETURNS

Kick off the 28th season of the Newport International Polo series offering action-packed matches every Saturday through September. Watch as all-star lineups of international competitors take the field. Experience a tailgate party for the optimal experience, or plant your seat in the lawn and relax. NEWPORT GULLS OPENING DAY

The Newport Gulls are a wooden-bat, summer collegiate baseball team based in Newport, Rhode Island. The Newport Gulls Baseball Club is a member of both the New England Collegiate Baseball League and the NECBL's East Division.
BRITISH MOTORCAR FESTIVAL

SVF ANNUAL VISITORS DAY

One day each year, the Swiss Village Farm opens its gates and welcomes visitors to their expansive 35-acre property, which houses rare and endangered breeds of food and fiber livestock. Visitors for the day have the opportunity to learn more about the foundation's efforts to preserve endangered breeds and rare livestock while enjoying myriad activities, including self-guided tours through the historic village; visit with Chip, a rare Tennessee myotonic goat born from a frozen embryo; and meet the SVF laboratory, veterinary, and animal care staff.
WELLNESS DAY AT TIFFANY PEAY HEALING ARTS

The annual Newport Secret Garden Tour opens the gate to a number of private gardens. Primarily designed and maintained by their owners, each gardens is a labor of love shared with the community to help raise funds for the arts education programs at Aquidneck Island’s public schools.
STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
When: Saturday, June 15; 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Where: Trinity Church
Admission: Free
Head to Trinity Church at Queen Anne Square fore strawberries by the carton (while they last), strawberry shortcake with local berries and Chantilly whipped cream, fresh squeezed lemonade and cool water. There will be craft vendors all day, and live music from 12:00 - 4:00 PM.
NORMAN BIRD SANCTUARY ANNUAL 5K RUN/WALK
When: Saturday, June 15, 8:30 - 11:00 AM
Where: Norman Bird Sanctuary
Admission: $30 registration, $5 kids run
Run, jog, or walk your way past beautiful views of Second and Third Beach and Norman Bird Sanctuary’s rolling fields and rocky ridges while the birds cheer you on. Kids can join the fun by registering for the Frosty Freez Kids’ Run. Head back at the Sanctuary after the race for refreshments and the awards ceremony. Race begins at 8:30 AM. Frosty Freez kids' run begins at 8:15 PM.
17TH ANNUAL CLAGETT REGATTA
When: June 18 - 23, 8:00 - 6:00 PM
Where: Sail Newport

The 17th annual Clagett Regatta will be held at Sail Newport in Fort Adams State Park June 19-23, 2019. This year adaptive sailors will be competing in three classes; the single handed 2.4mR class, the single handed Martin 16 class and the triple handed Sonar class. Sailors from across North America will attend the coaching clinic and fleet racing regatta.
TAPROOT'S FIRST ANNIVERSARY: TRIP AROUND THE SUN PARTY

Taproot Brewing Co. is turning one. Celebrate their first trip around the sun with flowing taps, lawn and board games outside, live music, wine and beer tastings, farm-fresh food stations, a swag raffle and more. Submit your free RSVP to enter into the swag raffle (must RSVP and be present in order to win) – and then show up thirsty. Cash bar for pints, beer and wine tastings, glasses of wine and nosh.
MUSIC AT THE FORT

Food and refreshments are available from Newport Craft Brewing and Distillery Company as well as, a variety of local food trucks. The concerts are for all ages and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on the lawn while they enjoy the live music and views of Newport Harbor.
CVS HEALTH CHARITY CLASSIC

The CVS Health Charity Classic will once again kick-off the New England summer with world-class golf for a great cause! Be sure to join co-hosts Brad Faxon and Billy Andrade along with 18 elite golfers from the PGA, LPGA and Champions tours.
NEWPORT FLOWER SHOW

The 2018 Newport Flower Show will celebrate its 23rd year with a variety of special events, including appearances on Friday and Saturday by lifestyle maven Martha Stewart, expert guest speakers, beautiful floral designs, impressive horticulture exhibits, stunning garden displays, unique shopping opportunities, and more. The Show opens on Friday, June 22 and runs through Sunday, June 24, 2018.
LIGHT UP YOUR SUMMER

Where: Rose Island Lighthouse

Join Rose Island Lighthouse and Newport Shipyard for a casual evening of fun and adventure to kick off the official start of summer. Enjoy a taste of local food and a tour of Rose Island and the lighthouse. Event is rain or shine, 21+.
INDEPENDENCE RHODE RACE

Where: Independence Park, Bristol

This half marathon race will follow the beautiful downtown streets of Bristol while they're decorated for the oldest Fourth of July celebration in the country. The 13.1 mile course includes incredible historic homes, a town common and the America’s Cup Museum before heading out along the scenic coastline, through Colt State Park and finishing along the water at Independence Park.
