📍 Third Beach, Middletown

Built by sauna owner and operator Elena Soni, also owner of Finn Woodworking & Design, Newport Sauna is inspired by Soni’s Finnish traditions and built for Rhode Island’s coast. True to her craft, the sauna is perfection, complete with mini changing quarters and of course a window to gaze out to the ocean.

Just over the border for Newport in nearby Middletown, Third Beach is tucked along a calm coast and surrounded by acres of preserved nature, making it the perfect spot for unplugging.

Newport Sauna is available for private rentals or shared sauna bookings.

Pair with: A nature walk before or after at nearby Norman Bird Sanctuary or Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge.

📍 Surfers End at Sachuest Beach, Middletown

If surfer sightseeing while you sauna is your vibe, check out Small Wave Sauna.

Located at what is locally known as Surfer’s End of Sachuest Beach in Middletown, surfers flock here for the waves, scenic vistas and ‘hang-ten’ vibes. And yes, they surf year round! However, while they typically sport a wetsuit, as a sauna goer you will give them a lesson in cold water immersion as you plunge, while they catch some waves on their board.
